A few years ago the government department which covers driving the DSA introduced the theory test, this was an attempt to improve driving safety and to go some way towards making taking crash course driving lessons more difficult. A few learners were able to pass their driving test in just 5 days but many of those who fluked the driving test had poor driving skills.
Now the renamed department, the DVSA are assessing the driving test simply because the majority of people involved in road traffic incidents are newly qualified drivers. So if you have manged to fluke your driving test in a crash course your chances of having an accident are much higher than most. Is it a risk worth taking considering the DVSA dont think the driving test is good enough for regular drivers?
